Octagon Onstage! | International Dance Day Performances

International Dance Day Celebrations are back for 2025!

Across two action-packed days, the city will be buzzing with performances, workshops, talks, and Absolute Beginner taster classes!

Join us in the Lower Octagon where Dancers from all across the city are coming together to share their love of dance with you - from traditional to modern and everything in between - it’s all about celebrating dance in every form!

Featuring performances by:
• OSCA Lion Dancers
• Khamzin Belly Dancers
• Black & White Dance Studio
• ODA/ODAPT
• Swing Riot
• OSCA Fan Dancers
• Otago Dancers
• RASA School of Dance
• Dunedin Rock 'n' Roll Revival Club

Then jump over to Te Whare o Rukutia to catch Bennett School of Ballet and Jazz, Logan Park High School and Otago Dance Association!

This is a FREE event thanks to funding from the Dunedin City Council.
